The 14,189-ton vessel had a length of 458.8 feet, and her beam was 65.7 feet.

SS Empress of Britain
It would appear from the above that Frederick went to Canada and arrived at Québec on the Empress of Britain in September 1921. He became resident in Toronto. His wife Josephine arrived in Québec on the SS Saturnia in November 1922 and together, on the 24 November 1922, they emigrated to the Unites States via Detroit enroute to his brother Richard who had emigrated in 1920 and lived at 186 Callender Avenue Detroit, Michigan.
