Obituary in the Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph published on Wednesday 28 January 1981 reads

Marietta S. Gray
Funeral services for homemaker Marietta Sinton Gray of 26 Tanglewood Drive will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Chapel of Our Saviour. The Rev. Harvard Wilbur will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Gray, 65, died Sunday at a local hospital. She was born on Dec. 25, 1915, in Colorado Springs. She had been a lifelong resident of the city.

She was married March 13, 1934, in Castle Rock.

Mrs. Gray had attended Colorado College.

She had been a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Grace Episcopal Church and the Colorado Springs Junior League.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Gray; two daughters, Mrs. Deborah S. Crouch of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Marietta T. McLaughlin, of New Town, Conn.; two sons, David M. Gray of Colorado Springs, John W. Gray II of Venezuela, and 11 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind.
